I built and programmed it myself. It took me a good while to figure out how to setup the flight controller, but after a month of reading and watching videos, I finally figured it out.
This was my first fatal crash ever. I have no idea what caused this crash. I think I was practicing my simple turning, over adjusted, and went down into a baseball field. The frame and one motor broke. Easy fix.
I had a trip to Ireland recently to visit family, and I was flying on the northern coast, and my drone just start drifting towards the ground. It happened slowly. I guess that was enough to rip the ESC info plug right off the board. That sent a power surge up to the flight controller, thus shorting it out.
